What does the Technical Field Manager do in Cambodia?
The Technical Field Manager will help lead the safe and effective delivery of humanitarian mine action operations in challenging environments. The role combines technical field leadership, operational planning, safety management, team supervision and staff development.

What work will the Cambodia programme involve?
MAG’s Cambodia programme focuses on helping mine-affected communities by carrying out safe and effective land clearance.

Who is eligible for the Technical Field Manager role?
Applicants need a strong background in Humanitarian Mine Action (HMA) programmes, particularly in conflict-affected settings. The role is intended for someone who is comfortable working in remote environments and can operate with limited supervision while maintaining technical and safety standards.
A particularly important requirement is an Explosive Ordnance Qualification to IMAS Level 3, meeting the requirements established in IMAS 09.30/01/2022. MAG states that this qualification can come from a relevant and recognised military, civilian or HMA NGO background.
